At age 82 with 70 years of entertainment experience Rita Moreno keeps rocking it. She was all fun and even was bleeped here and there as she accepted her most recent recognition - Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award - for her lengthy career and achievements.Rita started dance lessons as a child, at the age of 11 she was doing Spanish voice overs for American films, scouted by Hollywood before her acting took full gear - "The King and I", "West Side Story" musical - the list goes on and on.
Recipient of Emmy awards, Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Grammy, Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, HOLA Lifetime Achievement Award, Tony Award among others and also has a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She is the first Hispanic to receive the SAG award and also to mention the only Hispanic recipient of an Oscar, a Tony, an Emmy, a Grammy, and the second Puerto Rican to win an Academy Award.
